Nicholas Pearson Associates carried out a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for a proposed new leisure scheme in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, in a developing commercial and retail suburb of the city.

The leisure centre will comprise of a main building of about 10,500 sq m on a site of approximately 2.6 hectares. Outdoor elements include floodlit tennis courts, an exhibition/competition court, club members' terrace, outdoor swimming pool and car parking. Indoor elements include tennis courts, swimming pool, gym and restaurant.

As part of the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, Nicholas Pearson Associates prepared landscape proposals and computer generated photomontages. Our assessment formed part of the Environmental Statement submitted in support of the successful planning submission.
