Hestercombe

The gardens at Hestercombe are internationally important as the finest example of a garden by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll, but the discovery and restoration of the landscape combe by Philip White now draws equal accolades and numbers of visitors.

We have helped the Trust secure major funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and others to continue the restoration, provide visitor facilities, and bring the core of the historic landscape back into a single, charitable ownership.
