Location: Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire

Awards: RTPI Planning Award and Award for Local Regeneration and Renewal

Kingston Mills is a prestigious mixed use brownfield redevelopment in the centre of Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. The site includes a number of historic buildings located adjacent to the River Avon and within the floodplain. 

The project includes a range of residential properties, offices and retail units with a series of courtyards and a riverside path. 

Prior to planning consent we prepared a Riverside Design Strategy, with associated photomontages, to demonstrate a sensitive design approach to the integration of the new development into its riverside setting. 

We have subsequently prepared detailed hard and soft landscape proposals for the courtyards and other areas of public realm, as well as providing assistance with regard to BREEAM assessments.
