Environmental Management Plans are an important means of ensuring that development project programmes and legislation requirements are met during project implementation, as may be required under planning/consent conditions to implement environmental commitments and requirements. Management plans in other forms can also support and form part of project funding applications for biodiversity and landscape conservation, and legal agreements with local authorities or other parties.
As a multi disciplinary consultancy we have undertaken and coordinated a range of management plans for a wide variety of clients and developments at different project stages. These include at an early stage in projects to guide development phasing and funding; as part of planning applications to demonstrate how environmental considerations are to be met; and also following completion to take forward long term management commitments. We have also prepared a wide range of management plans to support Environmental Stewardship applications, and/or to guide estate management, in relation to historic landscapes and areas of importance for nature conservation.
