Arboretum and Woodland Management Plans

Arboretum Management Plans need to combine the aesthetic, educational and scientific interests of a managed collection, reflecting their historic character and origins, as well as their modern uses. We have considerable experience in producing plans for some of the UK's finest arboretums including those created in the historic landscapes at Westonbirt, Bedgebury, Nuneham Park (Oxfordshire) and Dyffryn Gardens near Cardiff.

Woodland Management Plans should provide the ultimate in long term land use planning, informing decisions like the regeneration of Trafalgar plantations. Woodland plans are required for Forestry Commission funding, woodlands managed under Higher Level Stewardship, and where woodland management is fundamental to the sustainability of the historic landscape. Our team includes a chartered forester.
