Design & Access Statements

Design & Access Statements (D&AS) are a statutory requirement of the Planning process and are prepared in support of Planning Applications, setting out the rational and process behind the design stages of proposals. Applying to all scales of working, from small scale development through to large urban extension projects.

NPA have a proven track record of leading and coordinating the preparation of statements, or contributing relevant sections to statements being coordinated by others.  Through D&AS we demonstrate the qualities and relevance of development proposals to Local Authorities and the wider Public with our Graphics team presenting the information in a clear and accessible way.

Draft D&AS often form the basis of pre application and public consultation processes and our written work, high quality graphic and photomontage outputs often prove to be invaluable in application materials, at consultation events and/or on consultation websites.
