Infrastructure

We recognise that modernising infrastructure systems makes an important contribution to powering economies. High quality infrastructure also underpins a good quality of life and provides greener, safer and better-connected communities. We have over 35 years’ experience working on award-winning infrastructure projects.

Our complementary expertise in Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture, Ecology and Visualisation is used in combination with the skills of engineers to deliver essential infrastructure projects, even in the most sensitive locations. We support the provision of crucial infrastructure in relation to water, waste, energy, utilities, minerals, roads, public transport, flood and coastal resilience, alleviation and natural flood management.

Our team’s approach to sustainable development, environmental protection, enhancement and net gain is based on an understanding of, and respect for, the unique environmental, social and economic context of each place and community. Furthermore, we recognise the importance of early community engagement, building in climate resilience, consideration of ‘nature driven’ solutions and reversing the decline in biodiversity.

Clients include private companies, engineering practices, project management specialists, utilities providers, local authorities and national infrastructure providers. This includes the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales and Highways England. In each case, we have aligned processes and working methods to enable effective collaboration.
